SAI Philanthropies, Inc.
The mission of Sigma Alpha Iota Philanthropies, Inc. is to support the educational and charitable goals of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity through philanthropic endeavors.
Sigma Lambda Chapter has a benefit concert featuring ISU Faculty and Students every year, in the spring to help support SAI Philanthropies. To find out more about SAI Philanthropies, click here. The music featured in this concert is by American composers.
Toys for Tots
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
Every Fall we host a benefit concert featuring ISU Faculty and students. The proceeds go to children in the Ames community.
Box Tops for Education
Box Tops for Education® is one of the nation’s largest school fundraising loyalty programs and has been helping schools succeed since 1996. With over 240 participating products, it’s an easy way for schools to earn cash for the things they need.
Sigma Lambda's efforts will be benefiting two Ames schools, Mitchell Elementary and Sawyer Elementary. We will be requesting the money go to Music Education.
Sigma Lambda Chapter
If you choose to donate directly to the chapter, you will be supporting a group that has had over 105 years of service at Iowa State University. Any money donated in this manner will go to supplies for the chapter or to a project that we need assistance with.
