The Sigma Lambda chapter at Iowa State provides ushering services for concerts. Our services include handing out programs, hosting receptions, and offering concert credit for students involved in Music 102 and Theatre 106.

For any music students, Sigma Alpha Iota offers two options for your recital. If you wish to have a reception we will put out everything you bring. You are to provide all food, punch ingredients, tableware, table cloths, cups, and plating items. Sigma Lambda Chapter provides punch bowls and ladles. We have emergency back-up items that can be used. You will need to have a form filled out and placed into the SAI mail bin in the office. Forms for recitals are available in the music office and must be filled out more than three weeks prior to your recital unless the Ushering chair contacts you otherwise. Payment is due no later than one week after the recital and then a late fee will be assigned.

Ensemble Directors and Studio Professors may also contact SAI about having a reception for large ensemble and studio recitals. The same rules apply to these concerts as senior recitals. A form must be filled out no less than three weeks before the concert.
