Sigma Alpha Iota Philanthropies, Inc., created in 1974 as a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization, is the charitable arm of Sigma Alpha Iota, International Music Fraternity. Its mission is to promote all aspects of music creation, performance and scholarship, and encourage service for and through music on the campus, in the community, in the nation, and throughout the world.
Toys for Tots Benefit Concert
Each fall semester, Sigma Lambda chapter teams up with our local Marines to donate toys and money to local children in need. This concert features ISU students and faculty. This family-friendly concert is held in the Martha Ellen-Tye Recital Hall in the Music Building, which is located on the southwest side
of campus.
Spring Benefit Concert
The ladies of SAI put on another benefit recital in the spring. This concert's proceeds go to SAI Philanthropies, Inc.
